A fresh sheet of snow tells a story that I don't usually get to read. Every fox, deer & bird that wanders by leaves their mark. Of course they are here all year round, but I only see the evidence in the winter. Snow allows every living thing that passes over it to leave their autograph behind. ❄️

Scrolling a bit here tells me a couple things: 1. Everyone's reactive right now 2. It is easier to yell at people you agree with on 90% of things than it is to engage with people who you flat out disagree with (I'm not saying you should!) 3. Nothing is resolved by said yelling, but it is exhausting

I do absolutely adore Mister Wilfred. Do adopt older cats. They're often left alone in the shelters. They don't understand why their previous people couldn't stay with them. And then they're alone in a place full of noise and other cats. Yet they make the best pets when you adopt them.
