With a bit of tinkering I have been able to get winapps to work on my #bazzite box. That's a little containerized windows VM running full-bore MS Office 365 as more or less a native app on my GNOME desktop. The Year of the #Linux desktop continues!

Some of the last reasons to stay on Windows have been gaming related. Both the time from installation to in-game and gaming performance on Bazzite are now actually better than Windows on many games, and living room usability is more seamless too.

Software is made by people. Trashing software is trashing other people's work. It's fine to have negative opinions about a piece of software, but you can just not use it instead of trying to publicly shame it.

The #Framework Desktop has been my favorite gaming device of the year, by far. This thing is an absolute beast, which is amazing considering it's an APU. Most games I've thrown at it have happily ran 4K 60hz w/ HDR, all while using 1/6th the power my desktop uses. -Continued-

i've gotten some friends to try @bazzite.gg out and its remarkable the work they've done at making linux an OOB experience. like everyone that i've told bazzite to has been like "oh shit it really isn't that bad, you were right" it's not 2004 anymore!
