With most work being done out of a browser, this is already the case for many people. There's also FOSS options like LibreOffice and OnlyOffice. Bazzite (and SteamOS) aren't just for games.

This interview covers a lot of the reasoning behind Bazzite's design, the history behind it and why we believe it's the model for the future of the Linux desktop. Michael also does a lot of good Linux content outside of this, so check him out if that's your jam π

Fun video featuring Bazzite from Dankpods! ππ For AMD hardware aiming to be console-like, we do typically recommend bazzite-deck (You can rebase to it with "brh rebase bazzite-deck"). It's a little less cursed than booting straight into big picture π

Bootc gets better every day! This is a proof of concept Arch Linux Bootc image, which also proves the door is open for distros like Debian to get bootc'd. Credit to Bootc team for getting this working, and Tulip for implementing it in Arch Linux.
