I was told today that “lived experience is not a serious perspective”. It seems that many people aren’t aware that the field of mental health is largely based upon subjective experience, feelings, and plain observations. Lived experience runs the show. This is not hard science, folks… sorry

There’s been a lot of criticism of PAT trials for being “functionally unblinded” meaning px can guess whether or not they got placebo. Do we even had hard data for this or are we assuming? Ive been interviewing clinical trial px and actually, surprised at finding that the contrary is true!
