ICE keeps saying the people protesting it are being paid without any evidence, but we have receipts showing that the people *defending* ICE are absolutely being paid. And yet we only hear lies about the former on cable news.

I just blocked someone who suggested this was "making up" an argument that doesn't exist. If you say you haven't seen people dismiss the worst potentialities of Trump by saying they're not legally possible, you are either trolling or just not seriously participating in the political conversation.

For the intentionally obtuse: there are many many ways to enforce laws. Stop framing issues as ‘don’t enforce the law at all, or enforce it in the worst way possible.’ Your false choice is intentional. This is deliberate. And it’s going to be our downfall if we persist.

Rewatching Season 3, Episode 8 of INDUSTRY before starting the new season. What I remember is a lot of shit happened and everything fell apart.

my dad did his dissertation on leadership and one piece of advice he gave me that i took to heart: get a bunch of small, no-brainer wins as soon as possible. big wins will be harder, thornier, and piss a lot of people off, but early small wins gives everyone good energy for the longer fights.
