I took the flu vaccine in September before a gathering of friends in October. I caught Flu A the end of December. I now have Flu B. I'm not yet convinced I'm not dying. This one's no joke. But the Flu vaccine this year sure as fuck was. (I'm pro-vaccines, but this is 🌈BULLSHIT🌈.)

UPDATE: After 9 days, Beep the Microwave and all their tributes *vanished*. We mourned his passing... ...until we learned on the very next day that the city collected Beep and his tributes to save them, not to destroy them! This is absolutely the best of all possible outcomes. All Hail Beep!

Look, I'm not saying I'm super squishy emotionally, but I did just reach the episode of the My Favorite Murder podcast where they had to inform their listeners that Elvis (a cat, if you didn't already know) passed away. Cue me crying in a grocery store parking lot. The episode is from 12/2020.

11 months ago, I got a crown. It hasn't been pain-free the entire time, but I was told it would adjust. Today, my 2nd crown popped off while I was brushing before going to the dentist for my cleaning. My dentist is gone. My new dentist has opinions about the work that was done and is fixing it.

Finally got around to grouting the mosaic lamp I made a year ago. 😂 It really turned out pretty. And now I have to find a home for it!

Looks like we may be temporarily taking care of a 4-week-old kitten a friend found in the middle of the freeway. All the rescues are requiring that you leave a message to communicate with someone. Good thing I have experience with bottle babies.

Another piece I managed to do in a very short time frame. I'm currently hunting for the right frame for it, but it is a little bit of an awkward size.

So I did manage to finish this one in time to bring it to the person it was being made for. It was a pretty ambitious piece, so I'm proud of myself for getting it done. 😊

So, I taught myself how to make homemade potato chips a few weeks ago. I've since made multiple batches for various events. It is pretty easy, with one step that needs to be a bit more precise than the rest. And every time I've made them, folks have had compliments. So I'm feeling good about that.

Been working on this piece for the last couple of months. Im not confident I'll have it completed by the time I wanted it to be as it is a very ambitious project, but I am happy with it so far despite it being only around 50% done.

Got home from the hospital today after a quick outpatient procedure. It took me about an hour to realize I still had the IV in my arm because I was wearing an oversized hoodie when I left the hospital. How's your day going?
