Many of the animal stories & research used in the Nat Geo / Disney Plus “Underdogs” series were basically the content & research I did for our best selling ‘Funny Bums, Freaky Beaks’ book - published 4 years ago by Welbeck / Hachette. We were not involved in any way. I didn’t know until I saw it.

So if you found the NatGeo Underdogs series interesting check out our original best selling silly science book. It was written for primary school kids & is very popular with ages 4-10. It was with a small indie publisher - we are not affiliated or involved with NatGeo.

A lot of the ideas, animal stories & science in the new Nat Geo #Underdogs series are identical to what’s featured in one of my science books, “Funny Bums, Freaky Beaks”. I wonder where they got the idea from…? 👀 There’s a lot more in our original best selling book though.

#maddow Science break. This kayaker gets approached by an otter every time he visits a lake. The otter was orphaned after the mother was in an accident, and the man helped it throughout it's rehabilitation process to later release it back into the wild. Volume up.🔊

Keep your eyes out for a truly incredible sight if you are on the south coast near Poole in coming weeks. People have been spotting a pair of White-tailed Eagles! Her partner was sat in a nearby tree. Look out for them flying low over the water, hunting for gulls.
