I see no reason not to look at the online gambling and prediction market craze as a new opioids crisis. It will wreak havoc on lower-income Americans and leave a trail of destruction and despair in its wake. The companies are just Purdue Pharma 2.0

šØHOLY CRAP. An ICE whistleblower just revealed a secret memo authorizing ICE officers to break into homes without a judicial warrant, which DHS's own legal training materials say is unconstitutional! ICE then hid the memo from the public, passing it along by word of mouth and private conversation.

Itās not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldnāt have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month. Itās about oil and regime change. And they need a trial now to pretend that it isnāt. Especially to distract from his sinking under Epstein and skyrocketing healthcare costs.

Jeffries: Democrats are going to offer an amendment to get that self dealing sick provision out⦠The notion that Republicans would give themselves the ability to rip millions of taxpayer dollars away so they can line their pockets, because these people were insurrectionist sympathizers is insanity.

This, from FDR's 1936 convention speech bears repeating, as always, but especially now: "Governments can err, Presidents do make mistakes, but the immortal Dante tells us that divine justice weighs the sins of the cold-blooded and the sins of the warm-hearted in different scales. . . . (1/3)

If the Supreme Court thinks universal injunctions are unconstitutional, to wait until *now* to say that, in this of all cases, with this of all presidents, is a devastating indictment of both its impartiality and its prudence.

RIP David H. Souter. Among modern SCOTUS justices, he had perhaps the most sophisticated understanding of American constitutionalism. His 2010 Harvard Law commencement address will long stand as evidence of that fact.
