It’s remarkable how quickly the “everyone shall be armed” Second Amendment Republicans use the fact that a beaten, defenseless man lying on the ground was (maybe) armed as justification for federal agents to execute him.

DHS said despite life-saving efforts, the man died at the hospital a short time later. Since when does shooting at a prone body constitute life-saving efforts?

Minnesota is an open carry state. DHS are lying. Their initial statement "someone approached Border Patrol agents with a 9mm semi-automatic handgun” and agents tried to disarm him, leading to “an armed struggle.” Even if he had it holstered under his jacket, he was just protesting. This was murder.

Being armed isn’t a shooting justification in itself. And def not after you’ve been disarmed
