TWELVE of the 31 AQs, almost half, now have to “qualify” twice. All those AQs from low major conferences that were previously 13-15 seeds are now all playing in the Opening Round as 15 and 16 seeds. This. Is. So. Stupid.

Good lord this is worse than I thought. Man the AQs are getting shafted so bad here. They’re all going to be shifted to the 15 and 16 seeds now. Perfect way to get rid of them so we can see several terrible P4 teams make the final 64. How/why did the mid major and small schools approve this?

Definitely not a fan of this expansion. And extremely not a fan of forcing AQs to qualify twice. They’ve already qualified!! Let’s not throw the AQs under the bus at the expense of at-large teams that would otherwise be playing in the NIT. (I was never a fan of the First Four using AQs either.)

Super happy Essence Bakery in Phoenix made this list. It’s legit good. While the macarons get the biggest love, the rest of the menu is really good too. Weekly specials and the chef adding her Greek flair (the spanikopita 🤤) make it so much better. I’d eat there multiple times per week if I could.

Anyone watch Rooster on HBO? As much as I’m pissed about Euphoria, I’m kind of in love with Rooster. The casting is great and the only person I cannot stand is the asshole husband/baby daddy, but I’m not supposed to (because he’s an asshole), so it works. Such a fun show.

Watched episode 3 of Euphoria and this show is still so unnecessarily over the top and the music makes it worse. Feels like there could have been an entirely different S3, especially if Labrinth had been involved.

Tonight’s #Euphoria really was something. Graphic even by Euphoria standards. I know there was a time jump and the kids that were in HS are now in their early 20s but they’ve all become weird versions of their former selves. But it’s episode 1 and I can’t wait to se how this season plays out.
