The statue of Ramesses inside the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum. We are so excited this museum has opened while we have been learning about Ancient Egypt!

Some of our #IDL work today involved learning about Moses. We had to sequence the story correctly. This afternoon, we learned about Ramesses the Great and began creating Egyptian collars from paper plates. We’re going to do a fashion show tomorrow 😃

On Wednesday afternoon we went back to Primary 1 @mss25.bsky.social to support pupils in some paired writing. We wrote about our ‘People Who Help Us’ drawings from last week. It was lovely to see the P6 pupils offering support and guidance throughout this task 👍🏻 #PairedWriting #SharingTheLearning

Our challenge this week with P3/2 @missc-dps.bsky.social was to find objects for each colour of the rainbow 🌈 the pupils worked together to take photos and then collate these using apps like SketchesSchool and iMovie 🎦

For the next couple of weeks, P6 will be supporting P1W with some writing. Today we discussed ‘People Who Help Us’ in the community. We created some excellent drawings which included doctors, our buddies, the police, fire service and a painter and decorator! #IDL #Writing #PairedLearning

We got to Scoot, Skate, Cycle and have fun in the playground with our friends this morning. The pupils had a wonderful time! 🚲 🏀 (Miss Mason is fascinated by the mini rocker trend. How many can you spot in the photos?)
