AMD (Xilinx) are no longer supporting Linux in the free version of
#Vivado
. You need to pay at least $1200/year!

This makes no sense to me. This will make it harder for people to learn and get into
#FPGA

typical Alastair Reynolds rambling four pages about the lighthugger Gnostic Ascension's information processing architecture i guess this kind of thing is very doable now, he's basically describing an inverted tree of communicating agents of increasing levels of intelligence and abstraction

though it's frustrating, I never consider a failed effort to be a complete waste. You have a better understanding of the frontier's boundary now. And it's a strange frontier.

did anyone ever figure out how to get openrgb to automatically set color profiles when a device is reconnected? currently i have to manually click "rescan devices" "load profile" that seems kind of suboptimal. running latest git version, and can't find it in settings

C2+C3. it's overhyped and not applicable to everything, but that doesn't make it less of a powerful or important tech. that's part of the uncertainty/discovery phase

The art of arranging marine algae into designs, bouquets, and even sometimes intricate little scenes, was surprisingly popular in the 19th century. See an album of such pictures by a woman named Eliza A. Jordson here:

my embassy-rs based flight controller firmware can now receive stick values over ELRS and set the RGB leds accordingly, as well as send back IMU orientation telemetry to the RC. it's a start!

the nice thing about WS2812-ish being sort of the standard LED driver nowadays is that basically all LEDs are individually addressable (which means more debugging bandwidth if you're using blinking LEDs for that, lol)
