Surgery went well. I'm back home. Apparently I had a third hernia. They found it while fixing the other two. No wonder I've felt like garbage for so long. They did go ahead and fix the 3rd while in there. No I'm just going to rest as much as I can.

Today is surgery day. I'm nervous, but ready to get it done.

Why are there so many bootleg King of the Hill DVDs out there. It's hard to find legit copies of the later seasons. It wouldn't be too bad if the bootlegs at least used dual layer DVDs, but nope, they use single layer and compress the crap out of the video.

I'm so tired. No matter how much I sleep I never feel like I'm getting any real rest. I've got to try and de-stress before my surgery, but work doesn't want to let up any, and I have less energy to do anything. It compounds and makes things worse.

Not sure what I think about this one. It looks like a nice toy, but it doesn't really look like what I want from Missing Link.

Sometimes I wonder if I take too many pictures of our dog. But then I think about how I've never once wished I had less pictures of my previous dogs. I always wish I had more. So sorry Selene, I'm taking all the pictures of you that I can.

I also went to Worlds of Fun for a quick visit today. Can't really ride anything right now, but it was still nice to walk around for a bit. Hopefully my surgery goes well and I can ride things again in a few months.

Lots of animals out in our back yard today. Tons of birds, a squirrel, two rabbits, and a ton of big fat bumble bees. It was lovely to sit and watch them all.

Got myself a couple of little adorable G1 boys. They need stickers, but otherwise are in good shape. I always pictured Scoop and Battletrap being bigger, but they are quite small. Still fun though. #transformers

Tuesdays and Wednesdays are just me wanting to get home to my dog as soon as I can so that she doesn't have to be alone. Like all day I think about that. It's only 2 days a week, and she does pretty well, but I don't like the idea of her being even the slightest bit lonely.

Lizbie is great. I highly recomend getting coms from her! I love every one she's done for me, and if it wasn't for medical bills I'd be jumping on this opening as well.

Artemis II has been lovely to watch. Feels like the world has been so crap lately, so it's been good having something positive for a change.

I meet with a surgeon in a few weeks to discuss hernia treatment. I hope it goes well. A bit scared of surgery, but I'm willing to do it to get things fixed. I'm so tired of feeling like I'm being stabbed all the time.

I have the best wife. Since getting diagnosed with diabetes I've been sad about giving up hot chocolate, and not really having an alternative hot drink that I like. She tracked down some diabetic friendly hot chocolate for me and surprised me with it. I love her so much.
