Storyboarding in Flash again is kinda tricky, but also I miss Symbols, so I'm feeling pretty good about starting another animatic project in it. Still working out the kinks of an Animate>Premiere (and possibly AE) pipeline, but I think my preliminary tests so far show some potential.

Welp, Animate/Flash still seems to work (2024 version, not sure if I wanna update) so, I think that's what I'll use for my next personal animatic... or at least partially.

What's everyone's alternative to storyboard pro? (Besides Blender)? Just white knuckle through layered comps in PS and AE? Or PS and PE? Or just Animate (though now defunct?) I can't afford the insane toon boom monthly sub, so I'm trying to think of alternatives...

@toonboom.bsky.social is SBP 7 compatible with Mac OS Sonoma? Is there any documentation on it? All of sudden SBP has become very unstable with constant crashes after updating my OS. If there are any patches or things I can do to fix this issue, please let me know.

Also, Toon Boom official site doesn't have help resources that go back that far for SBP 7 support... oof... I wonder if there are any forums on ToonBoom that could at least help me get some answers...

Even after disabling all the OpenGL advanced features, SBP7 is still crashing and unstable... again, if someone knows about this, lmk... though maybe it's time I retire from this program to do storyboards...

Are any mac users here still using SBP 7, and if so, with Sonoma, and if so, has it been crashing a lot? I just started getting back to boarding on it, and it feels incredibly unstable. I'm not sure if SBP 7 and Mac OS Sonoma are particularly compatible, but I haven't found documentation on it.
