The most fun and correct way to experience The Thing is to make it so for each viewing, you latch on to a different thesis for what's going on and who's infected, and then reverse engineer everything going on to support your conspiracy theory.

As fun as early Yu-Gi-Oh is, it's pretty easy to understand why it settled on Trading Card as it's game of focus You get to have character expression around their decks' themes, and they can "outsmart" each other in new ways each game And it probably wouldn't have lasted so long without that
