Pleased to report that Mina the Hollower is a masterpiece — a rollicking blend of 2D Zelda, Castlevania, and Bloodborne with loads of clever mechanics and delightful secrets. I love it so much that I played through it all, got 100%, and then replayed it with the built-in item randomizer. GOTY

it works, the new renderer is bug free! to catch folks up on the experiment, this is a zero polygon renderer which uses a heightmap raycaster similar to comanche. it's a single pass with terrain + n bookended pairs of layered geometry, so you can do overlaps.
