Thinking about how one of my friends almost committed suicide at 14 because of conversion therapy. She stormed out of her therapist’s office, got to an overpass bridge, and decided to jump backwards to life instead of forward to death. I don’t know the stories of the ones who jumped forward.

More trans people were at a house party in Baltimore with me on a random Saturday two weeks ago lol. The party location was not advertised online, and you had to ask someone who knew where it would be to go.

This is my hobby horse which no one else will ever ride, but it's worth saying for posterity: This is a violation of the actual Second Amendment, not the one illiterates dreamed up.

I'd also never heard of Hyrum's law, but it is 100% true. I was pairing with someone recently who'd only been in statically typed languages, and they were struggling with the idea in dynamic languages that you sort of– must _implicitly_ trust the code you're calling or library you're using.
