I reported back in *August 2024* that Goodwin had left the university of Kent. And that the supposed emeritus title he used was nothing of the sort. Since then he’s only hid a part-time title from a private for-profit university.

All those years at Goldman would have imprinted in Carney’s mind that the point of rules is not the rules themselves, but their outcome. A lawyer like Starmer would see it very differently — the law is everything. Carney’s outlook is much colder, more pragmatic.
