Starsprite Attack (WIP) The red objects represent unleashing their cosmic powers, firing shooting stars at the target. While their individual attacks don't hit hard, having more starsprites in your party can speed up takedowns! (This is specifically for red starsprites)✨

Kinoko has an ability bar now! This lets the player switch between all the abilities of their selected starsprite, with each starsprite type/colour offering a different set.

What a headline.

Working starsprite commands have finally been added to our game! This is so incredibly central to the game, impacting everything from combat, upgrades and puzzles to checkpoints and fast travel and ofc story... I haven't posted much since our first demo, but things are about to get very exciting. 👀

It's been a while since we posted! Our demo has been out for over a month now and we're doing some rework on the starsprites. Mostly with their coding/behaviour and some cleaner animations. Starsprites are mandatory in our game and its important we get them right. What do you think of the new look?

We both needed a little break after releasing our demo, but we're back in business now and working on starsprites! Here's a new feature: in the mid/late-game, instead of summoning at random, you'll be able to choose which starsprites come to Kinoko's aid! #gamedev #indiedev

Some of the progress we've made so far! We hope to release a short demo later this winter. Our game is planned to be a 2D metroidvania inspired by Kirby & the Amazing Mirror, in which you'll explore multiple planets and befriend starsprites, who will protect you on your galactic adventures. ✨🪐
