Winco was normal busy. Mom requested Carls Jr for lunch, but they messed up the order. Didn't feel like walking back over there to fix it. :/ When I got back Penny was up on my desk. She know's she's not supposed to be up here, and she doesn't usually get up here, so IDK what was up with that.

Today mystical magical activities: vacuuming, a bit of laundry, and a water change + another dose of meds for Phantom.

We were worried that Penny was having trouble with her kidneys so Mom took her to the vet a little while ago. Apparently her kidneys are doing well! It's actually arthritis in her spine. They gave her a painkiller shot, which works great once it kicks in, apparently.

Finally figured out a way to braid my hair, lol. For context, my hair is baby fine, and does not like to cooperate so it has traditionally been extremely hard to braid. It just... escapes. Even if it's dirty. Actually dirty is worse 'cause it's usually very oily.

In other news, I'm still digging around for alternate ways to get Clip Studio running again, and a lot of people are like "just use Krita" but every pro artist trying to install Clip Studio agrees that Krita just doesn't do what they need it to do. Clip Studio is a art BEAST. You don't understand!

Okie dokie. The second portion of the veggie broth batch is in the freezer (I freeze 'em in silicone molds so I can just grab a little puck of broth as needed), the bone broth is cooling, and I did a water change on the fish tank. Phantom had his water change + meds yesterday.

Making a double batch of broth finally. I make a big batch of veggie broth, then use some of THAT broth to start a bone broth. I've had those beef bones in the freezer for a while, finally got around to roasting them for the bone broth.

Supposedly they upgraded the internet here the other day, but it kinda screwed up my internet a little. Not sure if it's just a lot of heavy traffic (no built in ethernet ports in these apartments so everything has to be over wi-fi), or if I need to upgrade my modem.
