In Diddy Kong Racing DS, the message when connection is lost during Download Play is "LOST ALL CHILDREN". The cartridge is internally called a "parent" and the downloaded instances its "children". While this would make sense to the developers, it has the potential to confuse or scare players.

Tried figuring out a good process for posing into refinement + more work on posed anatomy in general. Want to figure out a process I like for sculpting figures & think I'm getting closer with this. also you have no idea how much I resisted the urge to remesh everything together I'm so strong

zyn / similar ads are so funny. They're like medicine ads in having to show / allude to the positive effects of the product instead of the product itself, except all of the effects are bad so they literally just show some completely unrelated footage and slap a logo on it. awesome stuff

all the best windows software in history is called something like "joe's thing doer". it does the thing and nothing else and is available on a html website in plain text and takes up under a megabyte of space and uses default windows ui elements and will work until the heat death of the universe

some hard surface detailing / workflow practice. this was still a bit messy & mostly just based on one reference but still think it turned out ok

went back and (sorta, incompletely) redid one of the character jackets from my grad project w/ a different workflow - not perfect but honestly Very embarrassed how much cleaner and just ...better it is. do not know what I was thinking all the way back uh three months ago

I gotta contract Brainrot to get myself to work on a big project again. I need that shit that gets people to make fanart of a game for ten years straight & end up as an art lead on it. I gotta learn the Technique
