I finished watching the HBO series Barry and I'm not sure what to say about the 4th season other than I am very curious about so many creative decisions because whatever they were going for didn't resonate with me, unfortunately. I'm not sorry I watched, but I was just powering through by the end.

We finally watched "Weapons" last night and I'm really glad we somehow never got spoiled on it. What a good movie; I can't come up with a single quibble.

Our town is putting on a celebration for our Olympic gold winner Elana Meyers Taylor. She got the key to the city and everything!

So sad to share that legendary colorist Tatjana Wood has passed away at the age of 99. Her pioneering painterly touch graced scores of DC & Vertigo series. She was truly one of a kind and a special friend. May her memory be a blessing.

No spoilers but I think Stranger Things stuck the landing. Well done. I remember making a little detour on the way to the kid's school to pass by a filming location for some new Netflix show that was going to have Winona Ryder in it. She wasn't there but the show turned out pretty good.

This has been an up-and-down year but there were some things to look back on with happiness. I'm ready to try to use the new year to reset my outlook and make it a better year in 2026. I hope everyone out there has had a good year and a better one to come.
