Hung the panel, installed the recessed lights and the ceiling fan box, and ran 14/2 romex to all of them. Took me 7 hours to do all of that, sadly. But I got it done. Tomorrow running the lines for receptacles, and that will do it for the art studio wiring. #diy #construction #woodshop

Took some time off work this holiday weekend to really focus on the shop project. I'm putting in a 100 amp subpanel, and running the circuits in each room. My goal is to try and get to the insulation stage before July when it gets really hot.

I built a little ramp to hold the 8x4x3/4 plywood subfloor sheets. The ramp holds the plywood while I clamp 2 C Clamps to the top of the sheet and pull it up with a chain. Effective! But boy after 6 sheets I am completely knackered. Only 18 more to go. #construction #woodshop

So, I bought a drywall panel lift with the brilliant idea that I could use it to lift the 3/4" osb subfloor panels to the 10' tall second story. Hah, I can barely lift a single sheet high enough to get it along the lift. I may need to call in my neighbor's skid steer to lift them up for me.
