Sharing the session with Juliet MacArthur is Prof Sarah Walmsley, who is giving a personal overview of becoming a clinical academic and providing an overview of the more conventional career pathways available to clinical academics across the UK. #ECRMC26

Our second panel today at #ECRMC26 is looking at career pathways for clinical academics and the role of mentoring, and is being led by Profs Juliet MacArthur and Sarah Walmsley. Opening the session is Juliet exploring the pathway for NMAHPPs and looking at her initiatives over the last 20 yrs.

We still have a great afternoon ahead on Day 2 of #ECRMC26, starting with Dr Callam Davidson from #TheLancet giving a practical overview of how to maximise the chances of successful publication of your research in high-impact medical journals. We look forward to hearing what editors are looking for!

We are concluding the morning session of Day 2 at #ECRMC26 with our first panel discussion of the event, on "Creating impact from health research, including in collaboration with industry", led by Prof Damian Mole, Prof Dave Newby and Dr Luca Cassetta.

The last session before break is with Dr Fiona Dobbie, who is discussing the value of incorporating #QualitativeResearch into #ClinicalTrials from the perspectives of Intervention design, Funding, and Generating understanding of intervention success or failure through process evaluation. #ECRMC26
