NEW RESEARCH: The brain chemical dopamine could play a role in anhedonia - a symptom of depression which involves people being unable to experience joy or pleasure.

Members of the CRF team as well as R&D colleagues had a great day at Oxford Health NHS FT and Active Oxfordshire Have A Go Festival. The event invites people with learning disabilities to 'have a go' at a range of sports and activities. The team spoke to people about 'having a go' at research too.

Deborah Moll, CRF Team Lead, co-authored a scoping review on economic evaluations in Speech & Language Therapy. The evidence is growing, but we need a more coordinated research approach to understand SLT's economic value. Great collaboration with University of Lancashire, RCSLT, and fellow SLTs.
