Literally this. If you are a cis person, even if you are an expert in some field that affects trans people, and you *think* you know some facts about trans people, I can almost guarantee you believe some things that are insanely wrong.

One of the things I think people don't understand is that you only need 2% of people to be actively committed anti trans people to wildly outnumber, outpace and out power 1% who are trans if the other 97% are ambivalent. Ambivalence about human rights is a problem.
