Hi, I'm one of the artists who left twitter because it steals our work with no opt-out. I'm also a book author plaintiff in a case against an ai company. Nobody likes ai except tech ppl in tech central. The majority of Americans do not like ai. The majority of Bluesky users do not like ai.

So the big studios are abandoning the US and turning the staff workers into contractors to get out paying for healthcare. The United States is losing one of its defining industries because of not having universal healthcare and the people are going to be even more vulnerable to the industry.

Eliza McLamb had an apt analogy abt modern fandoms: Fans no longer treat creators as creators. Fans treat creators like stock options they’ve invested in; like they’re part owners of a creator’s work just by *being fans*, and therefore get a say in what creators make/how they act. And it sucks.
