I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.

Very close to an update of Over the Influence as well. The holidays have been good for art making. Hopefully it doesn't fizzle out with return to work.

Got three pages nearly ready for Mindscraps, my new side comic to soon debut. Only need to letter them.

Trying out grey scale markers for the first time. I do still prefer ink washes and I think in the long run I'll go back to them. Better feel and also feels less wasteful. But with cramped time and a very nosy cat, markers are kind of a blessing right now.
