I have heard Col Malachowski speak in person. Truly an amazing pilot, service member and human being outside of the military. Some of the articles have been put back after the backlash, but they shouldn't have been removed to begin with.

This has always been an obvious problem with their slapdash approach. You can temporarily “save money” on paper by deciding to randomly stop paying bills. But if it turns out you needed some of that stuff, it’s ultimately going to be more expensive.

I've seen her speak. Her presentation was incredible. She flew years of combat missions and had to go through the exact same processes as anyone else who earns a spot on the Thunderbirds. The teams lives depend on each other, she was there on merit not so the AF could check a box for 1st female.
