Hot take for people who don’t understand how the US military works: it’s not a monolith with a coup lever. It’s a massive bureaucracy with a civilian chain of command. That’s a feature not a bug. I know many of you don’t want to hear this. Don’t shoot the messenger though. These are just facts.
