We love Yellow Rattle and collect the seeds to spread on poor grassland areas to increase their biodiversity.

Such a difference between 1945 and present day for Canford Heath and around Poole. So much heathland and its wildlife has been lost in those years.

Tonight, the Woodcock Moon rises. 🌕 Folklore whispers of Woodcocks awaiting this moonlit night to cross the seas & arrive in huge numbers on our shores. It was believed tiny Goldcrests journeyed with them, riding on their backs! It will be our second Supermoon of the year.
