For a B-day present for my 💖I made a butcher-block top and trim out of birch to replace the horrible old laminate top from 1948 on the cabinet next to our stove. I began Saturday; cut, glued, clamped, routed, drilled, sanded then oiled & installed it today. It is not perfect, but it's mine.
