Plenty of artists make art that either shitposts on the art world in a silly or “high-minded” way. Paternosto wanted to decenter the viewer from the often thought of way to view art, but is that not just long form vine boom button pressing? It’s disruption, and all disruption is the same w/art.

I was at a restaurant earlier and there was an aquarium full of koi fish. I put my finger up to the glass where one fish was trying to bite the edge repeatedly and it just stopped and looked at me like, 😐. Every time I tried to put my finger on the glass, it stared at me and eventually swam away 😭

I am having fun preparing for my first solo exhibition, coming up in December 2025-Jan 2026. I decided to frame the artworks myself, by mounting them on wood & using eco-resin to seal them — so they’re shippable internationally *wink* & because I have a deep hatred for glass frames.
