He'll hate me for saying this but this fella deserves some sort of lifetime achievement award. Somebody will tell me how much @salfordbeerfest.bsky.social has raised for charity over the last ten years but this festival is so much more than that. It brings people together in the best way.

Ten years ago I was digging out at least 250kg (dry weight) of grain three times a fortnight. Today I realised in very old. Still 300L double mighty stout and 600L mighty stout tucked away and I'm in the bath soaking my cares away.

Had a lovely chat with my MiL over dinner today and it's struck me how I might have had those chats with my own mum had she not died young. Glad to have the privilege of living with her.

Had the first packaged sample of our Indie Hopfenweisse last night, a hoppy wheat wheat beer featuring Audacia and Strata from Indie Hops Portland Oregon. There was a lovely squidginess in the pellets as they crumbled in my fingers releasing their delicious aroma. It's on tap 2 if you're coming in.
