Clinical research drives better health and economic growth - but the clinical academic workforce is dwindling. Our CEO Nicola Perrin and Chair @drlouisewood.bsky.social have co-signed a joint statement with over 40 other prominent figures across the UK health sector, calling for urgent action.

🩺The @amrc-uk.bsky.social latest report shows that over one in five deaths in England in 2023 were avoidable. Through our Make Every Conversation Count programme, we train young volunteers to promote health, prevent illness and have conversations that could change lives. #MECC #NHSVolunteers #AMRC
