I have a huge dilemma for the Montreal bagel fundraiser this year. The Edmonton Valley Zoo can’t accommodate the bagel pick up this year. I need to find another parking lot that can handle 500 cars driving through. Any suggestions?

Our last meal of 2024 is a delicious pineapple shrimp stir fry.

Sometimes you have baking failures that you turn into a hopeful success. The cake fell apart so I am calling it a cake mess and taking it to a dessert potluck anyway.

Chanukah tonight includes latkes and donuts from Bliss Baked Goods. There probably won’t be much left after three 18-year-old boys eat the offerings.

Last week I picked up a turkey for $20 and we smoked it. Besides the typical turkey dinner, I made these leftover dinners this week: Turkey soup Turkey dairy free fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli and spinach Crustless quiche with turkey and veggies Shepherds pie with turkey and vegetables

Managed to make two loaves of bread after work today. It’s a new recipe we are trying that has only five ingredients and no dairy.

Had a lovely gathering this afternoon to celebrate Chanukah early.

We saw the play development of The Vinyl Cafe at the Citadel Theatre tonight and it’s so good!
