The creators that I got to see and speak to were all so talented! I spent wayyy too much at Artists’ Alley, and I tried to stick to smaller sizes so they could fit in a portfolio, but that didn’t always happen. Here’s my loot! (Part 1)

My list of creators I wanted to see at RCCC this year was longer than I had time for, plus finding the author section was a trial that my body could not handle.

I had a list of creators that I wanted to find at RCCC, including several authors, but I didn’t have the stamina (or time) to hoof it back and forth. Having so many entrances but demanding they only use a couple of them this weekend definitely made seeing the whole exhibit hall impossible.

We deserve printed guides! But, from what I’ve been hearing, RCCC is becoming more corporate and that usually means cutting costs and pushing up prices in the dumbest ways possible.

Power-walked to theJohn Rhys-Davies panel at RCCC today, and it was so good! Both inspiring and funny, I can’t fit all my feelings in one post.

RCCC is always so hot. I don’t know how so many cosplayers can champion through.

First day at RCCC 25! It was probably one of the best days I’ve had at a convention. Prepping with lists and a schedule was extremely helpful. I also insisted on taking an Uber instead of driving and finding a place to park.

Can someone tell me again how we carry on in the face of such suffering and relative powerlessness

Observing people defend AI generated imagery feels like watching someone drink a milkshake made of lead paint and tell you it’s delicious because it looks the same anyway. They often have no personal stake in it, which is the most confusing.

Why can’t the RCCC site give a list of all creators and their booth numbers?

Getting back to my exercise routine after Covid is hard. I’m so fatigued.

Marriot Hotel[s] has been used to hold ICE detainees despite stating they wouldn't. Some wish to boycott the Marriot chain, but the Marriot is a much more humane place for detainees to stay than ICE detention centers, especially for children. Aiding detainees isn't the same as supporting ICE.
