I watched the new SSFF video on Yooka-Replaylee had reminded me of my relationship with the original game. I had just come out as trans and I was hyper aware of social issues. I bought the game right then and there when they said they were dropping the jontron cameo ever since he went full racist.

Decided to watch Ducktales (original) as the last show for 2025. In this episode Donald Duck is jailed for espionage. This is amazing.

One final thought for the end of 2025. Megaman has some of the best lore and plots of any game ever, but it's only ever fleshed out in literally anything and everything BESIDES the main games. Like Protoman hating Dr. Light, but loving his brother who the Dr. decided is his son.

iDubbbz did a good thing apologizing. He saw firsthand how his videos can hurt people, and he went out of his way to fix it and to say it was wrong. The internet en masse responded with "how fucking dare you???" He's not perfect, but he's taken active effort to change and be better ever since.

People who say Kingdom Hearts is confusing are very strange to me. Because it's almost a given that they absolutely haven't played the games in order. They just pick a random title and hope for the best. I imagine someone's first KH game being 358/2 Days and I cry.

Isnt it so funny how Suicide Squad had a major cultural grip when it came out but james gunns THE suicide squad (the supposedly better flick) was just a drop in the bucket and nobody talks about it? Even butchered, the movie has more style and personality than whatever the hell gunn did.

Nobody talks about Avatar because Avatar fans know how to shut the fuck up. People are fans of Akira Kurosawa without bringing him up every chance they get. They reference his movies and go about their day.

I don't think I ever showed this off but a fun fact about me is that I absolutely adore Birds of Prey. It's my favorite DCEU movie that's not part of the Snyderverse. I went to see it in theaters and I just had to get Harley's hammer as a popcorn bucket. I'm so happy I still have it!

Me anytime someone talks about Kingdom Hearts. "The story is so confusing" they say after only playing the numbered games and not the subtitled games.

Assassin's Creed Shadows is a fantastic game. You're all just so obsessed with following your favorite youtubers that you can't see greatness when it's right in front of you.

Make 2 versions of this too. One is a standard stitching of the films with some scene reorganized like the Jimmy stuff. The other cut is the same as the first but given only to critics where every slow motion shot is slowed down by an extra 5 minutes.

Literally me when watching Rebel Moon and noticing a CRITICAL PLOT POINT IS MISSING. Where are the abs Zack Snyder? WHERE ARE THE ABS?

AND I KNOW ZACK SNYDER LOVES HIS MEN WITH ABS. HE SHOWS THEM OFF WHENEVER HE CAN!

Ok but like I'm so tempted to make a "The Whole Bloody Affair" type of edit for Rebel Moon and make it one giant movie.

Just because it takes place in space doesn't mean Star Wars is sci-fi. Star Wars is a fantasy on the same level as The Lord of the Rings. It has space wizards and mysticism and those wizards call themselves knights!

This game genuinely so good, but because it's stuck on mobile because of Netflix it doesn't get the recognition it deserves. It already has controller support! It's just begging for a pc port!

Holy crap. It doesn't really appear in the video, but the squawking of these birds are so loud! I genuinely thought someone was playing a weird song downstairs only to find this whole flock just hanging out in the tree.

You can see I'm really more of a fantasy girly. With the exception of Frankenstein maybe Rebel Moon, I don't really stray too far from that. Maybe I should give that genre a go.

I started the year by reading the 4th and 5th books in the Discworld series and I took a yearlong break by reading other things mostly influenced by movies. I just finished Dracula for the first time and Im going to read Carmilla next. Afterwards I'll pick up the next Discworld book. Any recs?
