I've just been looking through the SNES Music demo ROM I worked on at Software Creations and wanted to share some interesting facts about the music in PLOK! The audio samples total 50K ( Bytes ) The SPC-700 music driver is 8K Each level tune is between 2K and 4K The sound effects use 4K. Amazing!

i've shilled for this stupid game for 25 years and I can't overstate how popular it is now vs. even 5 years ago. It's not even just the music, Plok himself has fans! and i think the game has historical value for being the first decent British platformer. this would be a great time for a rerelease

Plok makes me so sad because it truly is one of the funniest concepts and then the difficulty is just unnecessarily brutal and the level design devolves into collectathon nonsense. The art is so relentlessly adorable
