My recent photo library is all wound pics to send to my surgeon and to compare from day to day (and hour to hour), but I would like to share Leroy’s fluffy tail instead. Less harrowing.

GRADING IS COMPLETE! Hurrah for the end of a long semester. 5 classes taught, 1 kidney donated, 1 cat acquired, many hairs lost. The very first thing to do now is to sit down with a big cup of tea and write on this snowy afternoon❤️

Morning walk and/or gothic novel landscape. The hardest part of surgery recovery at this point is discovering all the little ways one’s body can become horrifying. I am healing well, but my wounds find new ways to be troubling every day. Don’t ever google wound dehiscence!
