Looking at Twitter, checking in on the enemy. Many of the "gender criticals" apparently assumed that the Supreme Court ruling would be some sort of final victory. That, I don't know... trans people would stop fighting and quietly go away? They seem rather demoralised that this didn't happen.

๐ณ๏ธโโง๏ธ NEW ๐ณ๏ธโโง๏ธ We believe the Supreme Court โ which disgracefully refused to hear from trans people before its decision last week โ has placed the UK in breach of its obligations under the Human Rights Act. So weโre readying a challenge โ join us:

Now seems like a good time for my regular reminder that if you support me because I seem like an 'acceptable' trans person, because I pass as cis and go to church and seem polite or whatever, but you don't support ALL my trans siblings, then you don't really support me at all.

Transphobes: "No we don't want to kill you, we want to kronenberg your body into something that causes you mental anguish on a daily basis" Cis bystanders: I really don't see what the problem is

Saw a thing on tiktok where someone said: "The single-sex bathroom argument is as antifeminist as it gets. It's a total surrender to patriarchy, because it assumes that men not only cannot control themselves around women, they shouldn't even bother to try." And holy shit that's fire.

What's funny about "echo chambers" being associated with trans rights is that "echo chambers" and "bubbles" are deeply cis-centric concepts. Part of being a trans person is learning to survive in environments where you're the ONLY person like you. Some of us spend decades doing this!
