this goes especially when the author is a novice. they're not gonna improve if you aren't critical of their work. they learn nothing by being told everything they're doing is great. start being honest and objective instead. say what you really think. i promise it will be worth it.

i find that people, particularly in video game modding circles, have a habit of "yes man-ing" when it comes to giving feedback to their peers i don't think it's constructive to simply say something is good when it blatantly sucks.

I completely overhauled my editor's rendering pipeline to export transparent level backgrounds, ultimately to produce a version of the game logo with proper transparency. I think there's still some kinks to work out with premultiplied alpha, but this is already miles better than magic wand tool.
