Over two days, I played Halloween-themed DJ sets. Honestly, I’d never actually done Halloween in Japan before. I assumed it was a Shibuya cosplay fest for a few. Seeing it up close as a global event, shared across cultures, felt like my first real Halloween. I finally got why so many people love it.

I'll be releasing the volumetric video lighting system used for Cathedral of Witches, Aurora Lights, & Sahaal for anyone to use soon. Works with anything that outputs to a RenderTexture (ProTV/TXL/in-world cams). Doing a lot of work to try to make it as easy to drop into your world as possible.

I finally fixed the full tracking issue that had been preventing me from using it, and DJed with VR full tracking for the first time in ages😎 Lately I've been paying attention to the New Jack Swing genre, and I realized it's the motif behind recent Japanese and Korean pop songs.

Music truly transcends borders. Even though I can barely speak English, the members of OOBB and Baptizm always give me a passionate welcome, shouting “KOHADA--!!” That makes me feel incredibly at ease. Music is the catalyst that makes me realize this is what true joy really is💖

DnB in VRC is in a really special spot right now. So maybe people spent so long growing the DnB scene organically. Introducing people to good quality drum and bass and masterful sets from a lot of super talented people. At first, building that scene was difficult and stressful.
