I am all for this anti-stigmatisation of crying in workplaces as a release, sign of frustration, expression of emotion etc. But I am also very much for workplaces that don't make you cry. This seems to be getting forgotten in our rush to share all the crying stories...

The comedy industry, and the world to be honest, was a far nicer place for having Al in it. Al was such a gentle, silly man who was one of the most proactive people I’ve ever know - in comedy, politics and environmental matters. What a loss this is, but his impact will last forever. RIP sweet Al 💚

Started day amidst a wifi outage decorating staff room with old exhibition posters and grappling with the politics of hope. Ended day on fair administration - sounds boring but amazing people working out how to change government systems for the people who use them. ❤️ Research communications.

It’s snowing outside here in York and looks like it might settle. Glad I bought that sledge in August now: I looked a right odd one carting it home in the blazing sun but who’s got the last laugh now, eh.
