What is common knowledge in your field, but shocks outsiders? If you placed all the books in an average Waterstones end to end, it would stretch around 7500km! But if you placed all the books *in our library* end to end, it would cause a huge fuss and you'd likely be asked to leave.

Literally permanent companion on my WFH days. Just sleeps on the window seat (head often resting on the windowsill) and makes a mewling complaint noise if I have the temerity to cough.
