I would say I'm shocked but Nnedi has never been one to be respectful of other cultures and started a whole genre of writing (that I think already existed anyway) because she was mad that Afrofuturism didn't center her specifically.

Disappointed in the Black people(authors and readers) who have taken the colonizers' approach of punching down on Indigenous people as a way to support Nnedi Okorafor. Nnedi doesn't fuck with Black people (specifically American Black people) enough for yall to do this.
