There is no AI art. We need to stop using that term. “AI generated imagery” or something like that can work if you don’t want to call it slop. But it isn’t art. Semantic, sure. But it’s an important distinction.

i love magicposer for making lighting/shadow references. you can also do this w free desktop software like blender but i prefer to keep my entire art workflow on my ipad if possible. it was a one time purchase to unlock (they do have a subscription for advanced features but i don't use it)

This right here. I know art is a “luxury” and when people can’t afford even the basics, it’s understandable that they aren’t spending money on art stuff. So if you still support artists in these though times, know how much we all appreciate it. (And don’t feel bad if you can’t.)

A class at my kids’ school put up little statements about the good they want to do in the world and I was over the moon about this one - then I learned they meant to say “teach people in jail” which is also good!
