To be clear - I get that @itch.io feel they have to protect their business. I *understand* that. My grievance, and why I *am* going to withhold my paying business, is because *the way that they handled this change is execrable.* I expect a company to treat its suppliers (the devs) better.

If you want to actually solve the problem, instead of punishing itch, start calling payment cos Collective Shout, which is run by people who get published by Spinifex, a very terf-seeming organization, apparently needed 1,000 people to yell at visa to get this done. We got more than 1000 people.

Speedfriends - if I was subscribing to your channel, I'm sorry, but I had to drop *all* my subs. I got hit with a bunch of "I can't afford this but it has to happen", so I gotta get my house in order (literally, my water heater failed yesterday...) before I can pick those subs back up.

I realized I hadn't said this in a common forum, so: Speedfriends- I can't make SGDQ this year. The finances just aren't there to make it happen. I'm setting things up to make sure I'll be good to make it next year, but this time around I just can't afford to go.
