I have zero patience when I cook. All I'm doing is heating up some nachos in the oven so the cheese melts and I keep pacing and checking the time. I'm simultaneously anxious I will forget it and it'll burn and too impatient to leave it in there for 3 to 5 minutes.

In the New Year I'm looking forward to talking to doctors about surgery for my herniated disc. I'm looking forward to less pain and being able to exercise safely. I'd like to shape the weight I've put on into muscle so I can feel healthier. I'd also like to keep kindling my creative spark.

I sadly didn't get to see this year's Christmas fish in person but they were once again in the tub! This is a totally new tradition for me and I find it fascinating and hilarious!
