Finally assembled this Eugy cardboard thylacine model last night. (spot the cute surprise hidden inside it in the first pic hehe)

Here's a kinda yucky little thylacine joey! Really had fun making it look shiny and meaty. Little raw meat creature. Forbidden jelly baby. They're designed to fill little gaps when I get fabric printed, so they'll be made alongside future thylacine beanies. Bringing the first few to Dinocon!

The other day I brought my entire thylacine plushie collection out onto the lawn. Many thylacine!!! There's 62 in this group, though one tiny joey is not visible as she's hidden in a pouch. Not present is an oven mitt, which I choose to count as a 63rd plushie, but I forgot to bring it outside...

✨Live size Thylacine✨ Here's the full preview! This guy is just over 100cm, has super soft fur so he's super cuddly, detailed pawpads and a side zipper for easy stuffing or unstuffing. This guy is the work in progress sample and I'm getting a few little things tweaked before the final is released.

Today I was cleaning up this really knackered badger skull I found last year, gluing in what remaining teeth it has. It also got blown about the back garden in a storm and broke some bits including one cheek arch, but luckily I found enough pieces... Tricky to glue back together but I managed!

I wanted to see how small of a crispie I could make from 1 square of chocolate. Fairly small, could have used slightly fewer rice snaps though...

A very silly creature I've been working on for fun between actual work... it's a long and noodly ragdoll-style coelophysis! I had an old pair of socks that made me think of the coelophysis' stripy leggies in Walking With Dinosaurs.

A yutyrannus I made with custom markings for someone... I like how this worked out, especially the dappling on the back of the neck, maybe I'll add little markings and shading to otherwise plain yutys in future! (Not open for custom plushies atm!)

Found a little photo album while clearing out an ancient stack of paper, and the only pictures inside were... Three printouts of creatures made in a flash game on the Walking With Beasts website. Very mysterious! Is there anyone else out there who remembers this game haha

Took my gannet, Gary, to visit his 'birthplace' at the Seabird Centre today, and it's fun that they still sell the exact same gannets >20 years later! Also spent some time watching real gannets from the rocks. Gotta be my fave seabird.

Doing weird things to a ferret this afternoon! Needed a wash (he smely) and then I decided to experiment with brushing and ironing the backwards fur to lie the right way... it uh, vaguely worked I think, but it might settle back to its original state anyway, guess I'll see.
